Hello, I bought these for my son who was travelling to Thailand. Given he has a peanut allergy and peanuts are used a lot there in cooking, it wasn’t the ideal holiday destination! However, he found the digital translation cards very helpful and well understood by staff in restaurants etc so that was very reassuring for him. I am so happy to let you know that I didn’t have a single incident in Thailand thanks to the allergy cards, something I never thought would be possible given how much peanuts are used in food there. Every person I showed the cards understood completely and was more than happy to cater for me. In fact, there was only one restaurant that wasn’t able to cater for me throughout the entire two weeks – I’m pretty pleased given that I ate out for almost every single meal.

I’d just like to say that the translation cards I purchased for India were really good. The chefs/hotels took my nut allergy very seriously and were very complimentary regarding the cards. Sadly unlike some restaurants here in the UK who don’t like the idea of serving someone with a nut allergy! I can’t recommend the cards enough and will certainly order additional sets.
